    I own three samoyeds from this breeder - all of which I love dearly - (all of which have health issues). My first samoyed I bought from her was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. Mild on one side only. The vet, a very reputable one, told her that it was genetic and unfortunately it happens. He was from a large litter and is a very large samoyed (not overweight - big in size) and this may or may not have attributed to this condition. She did not want anyone to know.   • Breeder Lies

    Bought a show dog from her. He arrived with a rip through one ear and a bad bite. Breeder claimed she didn't notice the rip which was nearly halfway through his ear. Took me nearly 9 months to get that ear to stand and it still has a notch in it. Even though the breeder told me the bite would get better it never did. Great dog. Not my idea of a great breeder.   • Sick, skinny and fearful!

    I bought a samoyed from Hawkwind a little over a year ago and I was really sad when she arrived. First off, she was terrified of everything and all people. She would hide in her crate and underneath things. Our poor baby girl would pee every time we would get a little loud with each other. If we moved too quickly towards her she would tuck her tail and pee too. Hawkwind touts that temperament and health are on the top of the list in their breeding program.
